Whenever I get tagged for something, I always get excited since these tend to be pretty fun to write about. That’s why I gotta thank my dude Shokamoka for tagging me to do this segment/chain thing! You can check out his variation of this tag by clicking here. Thanks again bud 🙂
I had to check out a few more of this types of posts before writing this since this whole tag was just confusing to me but from what I’ve investigated, you’re supposed find titles of books that you plan to read in the future and list them accordingly to the letters of your name/username/nickname/etc… bad explanation but basically I’ll be doing that but instead of books (since I’m not much of a reader), I’ll be listing anime that I would (and should) watch.

I’ll admit that I’m not much of a varied anime viewer, I tend to like certain genres of shows and even enjoy re-watching things over and over again *cough* K-On *cough*, so there may be a lot of moments where you’re thinking, “wow, you haven’t watched that one yet?!”. Gomenasai in advance lol
And to Shoka, this may be a little disappointing since there’s like only one or two idol based shows on this list that fit my name. Only if I had certain letters, Wake Up! Girls, BanG Dream!, ooooooh, the possibilities 😛
Let’s jump right in!
A – Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day
I’ve heard a lot of good things and bad things about this show but the fact that it’s talked about pretty often around the anime community and that the song “secret base” seriously makes me emotional even though I have never seen a second of anime (it must be the beautiful voices of Hayami Saori, Tomatsu Haruka and Kayano Ai), I think this show is worth at least a try.
L – Locodol
A show about a normal girl who is sucked into being an idol in order to promote their small town of Nagarekawa, doesn’t sound bad. I find watching idol shows that deal more with “up and coming” idols give off a realistic and enjoyable vibe, very similar to THE IDOLM@STER (2011).
F – Flying Witch
A show about a young witch and her living a new life in the countryside in order to proceed her learning in witchcraft. I just heard that this is a pretty enjoyable and comfy slice-of-life to watch. They sold me at “comfy”.
R – ReLIFE
All I’ve heard about this show was that a 30-year-old dude randomly turns his appearance back into a 17-year-old high school boy and starts high school again. Doesn’t look bad but I feel like I would focus too much on what’s actually going on in this anime with the “age differences” and shit (and that’s just a personal “habit” of mine), but I’ll definitely try out the show. The two main characters definitely do look cute together.
E – Evangelion 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo
I don’t know what’s wrong with me but I have yet to watch the next installment of the Eva reboots. I think it’s because of the lack of interest I had in the last two films (my reasoning is, I think, a spoiler so I won’t tell you) but I better watch this before 3.0+1.0 comes out… if it even comes out.
D – Denki-gai no Honya-san
I’ve always liked the slice-of-life comedies that are in “job” setting like Sore ga Seiyuu, Working! and of course, New Game!. So a show about a bunch of “quirky” employees working in a manga shop does not sound bad at all.
O – Ookiku Furikabutte
If you didn’t know, I am a massive fan of baseball and have been following and learning more about the sport over the past 4-5 years. I don’t play but I do enjoy watching it. That being said, I think this particular show is considered one of the best/most enjoyable baseball anime there are, so I wish to try it out soon!
P – Precure
I’ve always thought I would stay away from the extremely cutesy “mahou shoujo” shows that are geared towards children (even though I enjoy “moe” anime) but when I watched a clip of Takahashi Rie and some kawaii teddy bear fret over their missing pancakes, it’s like something clicked in my mind. I might actually be a little kid in a 17-year-old guy’s body.
I honestly would be down to try this show out.
A – Amagi Brilliant Park
You know whenever I try to search for this show, every time I mistaken it for “Amagami” rather than “Amagi”. I swear to God that romance is forever burned into my mind.
A nice KyoAni show about a young guy running an amusement park full of fun, insane personalities and magic, and ultimately helping it gain back it’s popularity from the past or else dire consequences would occur. I’ve seen clips of this show, the mascots are pretty much the reason why I want to watch this. They are hilarious.
S – Sound! Euphonium
Yet another KyoAni show that has been discussed a bunch in the anime community. I like music-based shows/stories and this one definitely seems like it’ll be interesting and insightful to watch since I barely know anything about school bands… other than watching the American film Whiplash which might’ve just painted me a realistic and scary picture of being in a band in school.
T – Tanaka-kun wa Itsumo Kedaruge
Other than seeing this show being represented by a fellow blogger, Lethargic Ramblings, this show seems pretty relatable and funny at the same time. A high school guy who is so lazy to the point that drinking a milkshake can be an Olympic sport to him, this anime shows the daily life he has to live and the different events that prevent him from enjoying his peace and quiet time. I can already imagine the amounts of times I’ll think in my head while watching, “oh, that’s definitely me”.
A – Assassination Classroom
Oh boy, having three “A”s in your username is great…
I’ve heard very little about this show but the simple premise that I’ve heard being “a bunch of students try to kill their teacher who is about to destroy the world” sounds pretty interesting, you gotta admit. I assume a lot of creativity was exemplified in this show.
I feel like I complied a decent list here. There are so many shows (and movies, oh goodness) that I have yet to watch so hopefully I won’t be so lazy and experience the greatness in said shows.
I’m not much of a “tagging” person but I will nominate my fellow #moe404 writers, nesha and Rodrovich (please don’t feel pressured to do this, it’s all good if you choose not to). Also, I’ll tag anyone who is interested in doing this fun community chain.
Thanks for reading!! 😀

And I thought I was the only one in the no AnoHana train! Woot! Can we like save it for last so we can flood the blogging community together?
Both KyoAni show will have you feel good after having watched them.
ReLIFE is hmm.. a hard one to truly recommend. I’ve had a better time with the manga than the anime for sure but I’ll be ready to read your preference in the end.
I love how you didn’t use the L for Love Live! Sunshine!! Movie lol

I’d be down to do that!
And yeah, I was honestly going to list unreleased anime (like the LLS movie and I think One Punch Man 2 as well) but for some reason didn’t feel like including them lol

I’m planning to watch Tanaka-kun wa Itsumo Kedaruge too! I didn’t even know about the show until Leth HAHA. I haven’t watched ReLIFE but I’ve read the manga. The manga is really good!!

Assassination classroom was great. Gave me a few tearful moments in that anime that I wasn’t expecting.
